@electrineer Hard to ++ your comment. But I’ll do it anyway because you’re right. I’m a bit nostalgic after reading that timeline. The early days were pretty amazing even if they were primitive by today’s standards. For one, you had direct access to super influential people you’d never have the same privilege of being in contact with today. I remember being in the Usenet threads with actual Tim Berners-Lee. And my wife had dated someone in high school who eventually was a founding programmer at Netscape. He was invited to and actually attended our podunk town wedding.
