I hope I don't have to post only rants here. I finally caved in and bought a Udemy course by Dr. Angela Yu and am SO EXCITED !!!!!!!!! CALM TF DOWN

You bought a Udemy course? Yeah calm down.

I've spent £300 on £12.99 or less Udemy courses and wouldn't say that any of them are worth the price. The number of hours don't mean anything. I usually find that they stick with the very basics for far too long in the basic ones or are far too specific on topics that I'm interested in for the intermediate/advanced ones. I'm not going to spend that amount of money for someone to talk me through a specific topic that I could read up on in a few hours.

As you probably noticed when creating the post there where quite the number of options ;)

But rants are usually the most popular posts since it’s what most will identify with ;). We all have been there in IT.

As for courses, I took one of the first courses Stanford put online and I was by the person that later was part of starting up udemy, but that was many years ago.
