Give us a setting to toggle "Mute notifs for this rant" by default.
I toggle it off on every post I comment on x.x

    Right now i would prefer to have a "Mute people in this office" setting instead.

    We'll add this to our list of possible features. There doesn't seem to be a ton of demand for it but it probably makes sense to have in some setting or something.

    @dfox I find that the option

    settings->notifications->new comments in a rant you commented on

    turned to off doesn't change notification behavior. S3Neo with Cyanogen 12.1, and Zenfone 2 Z008A

    That is for push notifications. We're talking about in-app notifs.

    Oh, I see...I was hoping that the in-app notification were muted too, with this option :(

    @-eth you can mute in-app notifs in a per-rant basis.
