Ugggg!

I am about fed up with Windows.

I leave app/programs open at night because I have a bad memory, and they were important to what I was doing.

I wake up: Windows Login Screen. Apparentally windows decided to restart my computer during the night.

Ohh what joy.~

Now I have to rememeber what the fuck I had open - and it was mostly work related.

I would have left for Linux ages ago, but I'm a gamer.. And most of my games are for windows.. Some are even Windows Store Apps..

Windows.. Why don't you give a shit about us..

And before you ask..
I have Auto Updates Disabled (Not that that really fucking matters with windows..)
I have all sleep and power saver settings disabled.

    Have you tried dual booting a light Linux distro?

    Dualbooting with Windows 10 is just.. Bad.. Windows likes to sneak in "updates" and they are known to (for reasons beyond me) destroy a dualboot. I've tried it with Kali, and it had to re install it a few times after windows auto updates.

    Also, I wouldn't go for a light OS. My system can handle it. And I have plenty of storage.

    I have been using elementryOS for past year. Works great with Windows 10. Use grub for bootloader. Might work then.

    @Cyanite Ahh I wasn't aware of the problems with dual booting Window's 10 because I rarely actually boot into it for it to update. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

    Wonder if i can run Linux, and maybe VM a stripped down Windows 8/10? (has to be one of these because one of my games is an app)

    @Cyanite I don't see why it wouldn't be worth a shot.

    I do however have 2TB of accumulated data i would need to sort and purge.

    @Cyanite I'm not sure you'll get your full GPU through a VM. But if you give it a shot, I would love to hear some results.
