it's so chaotic in são paulo the subway has signs telling people to leave the left side open for people rushing through. it works really well, i wish every sidewalk had the same system

@theKarlisK High on satisfaction, high on risk. lol
@darksideofyay seems like 10x times better situation that India. -
@Floydimus well são paulo is a total exception in brazil. there's just too many people there, and it's a fucking nightmare. lot of work there, but I'd never. even with that rule that shit is insane
-
@darksideofyay agreed. India and Brasil are overly populated. Everything is a competition for survival.

@Floydimus brazil isn't actually that populated, são paulo is. the country is really big, so most of it is just... horizontal. i live in another capital and it is pretty chill. low buildings, traffic isn't that bad, streets are mostly empty
-
@Floydimus i live in Curitiba, at the south. it is considered a good place to live. transportation, city is clean, stuff generally work. ngl i don't like the current administration, they really fucked up the vaccines for us. still, it is pretty chill. literally too, it's fuckin cold here, and most places don't have heaters or hot water 😑
I have another level of respect for people who walk fast and/or don't block others.
Especially in an over populated country like mine, at any given spot, you can have more than one thousand people.
It annoys me how people walk slowly in the middle of the lane. Just cannot do anything about it.
