!rant Freelancers of devRant, how do you find your clients? I have 2 years experience and I am thinking of starting out with Upwork.

I use freelancer.com - I use it like a dating site for "work partners". I get a conversation going & take it from there.

I know it can be discouraging seeing projects with $30 budgets. Buy these are not the ones you are after.

I suggest you filter for businesses with real clients. Businesses who cannot afford an IT dept but still need a coder to fix up their tech stack.

Tried real hard to get into freelancing for 2 months. Unless your an expert at something highly in demand and technical, expect to be underbid by Indians constantly.
