netstar21053yI have a feeling the whole "VS Code/Atom is / isn't a IDE" may become a modern day ripoff of the Vim/Emacs debate
Because it has an integrated debugger, provides INTELLIGENT completion, based on (in the case of c#) roslyn. It features an integrateg output window, if you run stuff the output gets there. You can create, debug, deploy (c# dot net core) projects without switching to another windows.
And, with its great set of extension it makes an awesome python editor+debugger and stuff
