When do you clean up you digital photo library... and get rid of RAWs with final copies? or am I the only one that saves those on my phone?

Who else would save RAWs on your phone?

@Niddam ? Don't you have option to turn on Save RAWs? Don't u sometimes wish you can touch up pictures?

I guess my question without all the typos is when do you get around to touching up the pics and saving a final version?

Why would I keep RAW photos on my phone? I have my DSLR for that where I can take proper photos with different lenses... But if we're talking about a dedicated camera then yeah, RAWs are never deleted, even after there's a "final" version... I just buy new hard drives :D

@Bikonja because when I take a photo on my phone I get 2 files, the jpg and a RAW.

@billgates yeah, that's what I do on my DSLR, but I wouldn't really do it on my phone, if I'm gonna take a proper photo I'm gonna use a proper camera, not a shitty phone camera...

@Bikonja hm... But sometimes the camera Algo is dumb so it's better to just correct it manually using Lightroom?

@billgates I would imagine it's not too far off and you have enough info in the jpeg to do basic tweaks without losing too much over RAW... It is a phone camera after all so you probably don't have amazing quality either way so losing some of the RAW shouldn't be a huge deal in a phone camera.
I suppose it does depend on your preferences, camera, phone and the kind of photos you take... It might be worth it. But I just prefer taking proper photos with my DSLR anyway and I leave the casual photos to my phone which don't need to be perfect.
