Non deterministic behaviour in complex systems is a joyful cesspit...

No matter how much I try to enjoy it as a learning experience, I still feel - and stink - rotten...

The number of stuff that shouldn't have existed in applications is frightening and I really don't want to look at it anymore.

But it suddenly starts working and didn't crap out since 7 hours.

Just stay like that the next years till someone else has to play with you. -.-

Nope. A chain of services who were built by in incompetent devs.

The workflow is bad, the architecture is bad, the code is bad, the way it is deployed is bad.

If it wouldn't be a pretty large timeframe to rebuild it, I would have pulled the plug from it.

But to rebuild it, one would really need to redesign and reimplement everything. Meaning that every dependent service would need to be adapted, which would be ... A real time consuming adventure.

Probably years.
