Bikonja23838yI get a stack overflow exception/infinite loop... Always running around in circles when I debug my depression...

eating healthy, exercising, plenty of sleep, loosing some weight, doing something new/diferently everyday - like joining a club. And if nothing helps go get professional help. ❤️

You're a developer, you create things from nothing but your knowledge and excellence. Your will becomes fact, your skill creates value. You're basically a god walking earth, changing life only through logic and intellectual supremacy, why would a being like that be depressed? Seriously, I never understood how people in our profession could exist without thinking they're the hottest shit on the surface of the planet.

@Bikonja
Lol can relate. The infinite loop just consumes system resources until you crash. That's why I suppose it's best to end the loop or cause before it becomes unstable and out of control. -
@heyheni
Doing my best to improve myself. Taken back to my old hobby of guitaring. Realised why I did it for 8 years straight, I enjoyed it. Thanks for the suggestion. -
@freshlyfe
Indeed. A reboot and a fresh outlook on the problems one is facing. Hard to do though. These problems aren't bsod, they are kernel panics. -
@Godisalie
You make one think and feel good about themselves. Would just be nice if people saw a fraction of what one sees in themselves.
But the sentiment of being the hottest shit around is one I shall veer into. Time for some mirror talk. Thanks. -
Bikonja23838y@Godisalie cherish that feeling because depression is not something you can rationalise. It's a disorder and we who have been afflicted are not able to utilise the rational parts of our brains in order to deal with it. Quite the contrary, in fact as we use our rational thinking to further cement our twisted thoughts.
Similar to how, say, a great runner upon hurting his leg can not run fast anymore, but his love of running will make him rum before his leg is healed so it never gets enough time to heal properly and the runner is never as good as he was. -
@Bikonja
That's the truth. I've been toying with the idea of quantifying my life in hopes that something obvious pops out over a long enough timeline. Like hey, I have these skills and have friends who are data scientists..
Then reality sets in.
The sheer size of it has kept me from pursuing it. I'm not even sure it would be worth the effort.
And here we are. I completely relate.

nachocode6When you talk to other devs about what their code did. I also relate myself to this.
I wish I could debug depression as well as I could debug code.
