Today we had a cryptolocker running through our file servers. The locker came from a mailicious e-mail from a strange address. The email contained a strange pdf file with an embedded docm file. 6 people out of a workplace of 80 opened that file. These people...

    ... should be fired. If you're on a corporate network then you need to be smart about what you're doing or else you're a liability to the company. I have no patience for stupidity when it could take down an entire corporation.

    Our company has policies in place to ensure things like antivirus is installed and updated. We had malware emails the other day where it was fake Dropbox, dumbasses still clicked on it, despite us being a company that uses OneDrive only.
