@linuxxx Dude apart from the end to end encryption thingie it hasn't got anything to offer in comparison with uncle Paul's Telegram

I question it's end to end encryption, I've got some very pointed targeted advertising on things that were only ever mentioned in encrypted chats, interestingly in non-Latin character languages

@krahnemoon @morganbye well a rear opinion but I trust WhatsApp better with the encryption than telegram since telegram wrote their own algorithm and WhatsApp at least uses (officially) the Signal protocol. They both store metadata like there's no tomorrow anyways which is why I quit them both!

@linuxxx yeah, I try and skip the middle man and just use Signal. But the inertia behind WhatsApp these days is pretty undeniable
