At least they didn't do what the delivery guys do in our town. If they can't be bothered to come to the door they just chuck it over the fence. And if they decide to come to your door and you aren't standing with your hand on the handle to open it as soon as they knock they either come back a different day or chuck it on the floor (someone had cctv of them just flinging it onto the floor). The company doesn't fire them no matter how many complaints they get. On one occasion someone caught them putting it in the bin that had been left out for the disposal truck. Luckily the owner walked out as he was doing it and he tried to act like he was using it to balance the parcel on and use some paper.

@hash Fair enough. Really with there was a viable alternative some of these companies. FedEx sucks. USPS is a joke. UPS....is not as bad as the other two.

Maybe some compatition would help motivate them up their game.
