Yeah too fucking bad all these fucking up sites are still on framework otherwise being on the new core wouldn’t be such a pain in the ass. Too bad all of our tech leads, managers, and architects are too much of PUSSIES to try to change anything bc they would rather get bent over by the clients.

@phat-lasagna i ain't used .net since ASP.NET MVC some years back, pleasant experience and I have been keeping up with C# and .net core. Don't you think the constant upgrades done to .NET are maybe something that both managers and developers are considering?
It feels to js-paced in my opinion. -
@AleCx04 I think you misunderstood. I primarily work in framework not core. That’s why I’m upset

@AleCx04 the fact that people consider upgrading to core as the last possible outcome astonishes me too. Like “oh we really need to improve the BE speed so we are just going to move blocks around and refactor some lookups 🥴” instead of just giving their balls a tug and actually upgrading that legacy piece of shit to core. Fucking imbeciles.

I didn't even realise .NET 7 was released YESTERDAY until a startup wizard pre-selected that instead of .NET 6 LTS
It was surprisingly a quiet launch .-.
Or I was too busy to notice -.-
