Ever feel like a Jew in a concentration camp except everyone else imprisoned with you is a goddamn nazi that should be there?

I seriously start to get curious, what place on earth could be that bad. I mean, you could be at a front line of the Ukrainian war under artillery fire right now and it would still be orders of magnitude away from being a jew in a concentration camp filled with nazis (which sortof is funny to read just because it is so incredibly absurd).

Also you better are an actual jew or your text would be antisemitism by relativization of the holocaust.

The thing with people is that they all have some understandable and most often not even bad intentions. And then they also have these deeply ingrained dark desires and virtual needs - greed for wealth or power, desire to reproduce, have a religion, be part of a tribe, being loved. On top of all that absurd emotional and instinctive stuff, they can also experience love, hate - and boredom (which is the strongest of the negative emotions)... Then there also is the lossyness of human memory, the fuzzyness of brain function in general and the occasional brain farts. And that brains want to keep their world views consistent real hard. So they automatically unconsciously fake history, change deductions and censor new information to make everything match up.

Being human isn't easy. Human brains are a mess and there really isn't any good manual for that sort of tech...

Still, most people _i_ meet are sortof reasonable and well-behaved persons as long as you don't touch the individual taboo topics.

In my opinion, there still is hope that evolution just goes on and that the final product will be less like us and more like the idealized version we see of ourselves...

@Oktokolo Relativization of the Holocaust isn't really antisemitism. At least it doesn't feel like it. Antisemitism is hostile against Jews. It's still shitty behaviour, but I think antisemitism is a very powerful word that shouldn't be worn out on all sorts of assholes who got nothing against Jews really and just like to overdramatize their situation.

This is one thing I really, passionately hate about modern discourse. We eagerly classify each other's flaws and in the process inflate the flaw and degrade the class. People can be dicks without belonging to a hate group that is connected to countries worth of deaths.
