I thought Chrome is the bad browser who wants to eat your RAM...

    Go to chrome preferences and turn of hardware acceleration. And voila, 1-2 gigs of ram will be free!! :)

    Regardless, chrome is terrible and the shortcuts make no sense

    Or did the chrome development team find the redbull stash?

    I think I found the problem.

    Chrome separates into background subprocesses.
    Whereas firefox has this one big monolith of a process.

    @orto both were incognito with addons disabled.

    Also what you see is every subprocess together, they get grouped in separate windows
