    @Letmecode As someone who worked for a market research institute for almost 4 years, that's actually pretty much how those numbers come to be.

    I actually belive that AI can already replace any IT job.
    The issue is that most people are too stupid to learn how to use it, and make it profitable.

    There are also code generation tools that take something like a uml description and convert that to code which significantly reduces programmer work load.

    I haven't seen it mentioned, but Google specifically announced that they have a neural net AI that is building and grading new neural net models. While the system is basic it's basically an AI that can build, review and improve it's next generation. Once this graduates the basic level it most likely could do any number of things, like write software. Combine that with tools that already exist like programs that can generate HTML/CSS/JS (albeit ugly) from a picture I think we may have AI coding counterparts in the next 10 years. At least tackling basic problems.
