I want to setup my pc with Linux/windows double boot but I don't have the slightest idea which distribution to use. I tried Ubuntu some years ago, but that just didn't seem to be my style.

What do you use and why?

It's hard to pinpoint what you're looking for. If you want nice visuals and a very desktop feel then go for elementary OS. To name a few other good distros, you have debian, linux mint, archlinux etc.

    Maybe try mint?

Mint and ubuntu are popular. I have pretty good luck with CentOS and Slackware.

You can try Fedora... but I think that every distribution has its own unique features. For example Kali has built-in pentesting tools. Search and you shall find 😊

Thanks everyone, I'll dig into the mentioned OSes :)

If I don't forget it, I'll be posting my final choice (in a week or so)

I was in the same spot a few years ago. I decided to go with Linux Mint. It's pretty easy to use and the interface is more closely related to that of Windows. Then, after a while, I just went with Mint solo.

Gotta love the customizability of kde... Go Kubuntu or Linux Mint KDE!
