I do.
But i don't have a family or animals to support (and also don't plan on changing that) - just myself. And i am a PC gamer and live in a country with reasonably stable infrastructure - so i only have to pay for power and hardware updates and can pirate the games when money is too much an issue (currently it isn't so i just buy them when on sale as pirating isn't as convenient and morally right as buying). I also work from home on projects i like and don't see as a waste of resources.
Might sound a bit harsh - but if you can't afford saving this particular dog maybe just pay the doctor for giving it a quick death instead. That avoids you and especially the dog experiencing a dragged out suffering. -
@Oktokolo
I completely agree. I've been debating with myself for quite a while now whether not not I should get a dog or not. I don't drive, so being able to take it to a good vet has been a large consideration.
@b2plane, I echo what @Oktokolo said, if you resent your pet for costing you too much in medical bills, then you should do the best thing for you both and put him down humanely if nobody else would take him. -
@cmarshall10450 this is true. Or give them up to a no lol shelter. Giving them up means they will pay their bill, but you forfeit your pet.

lankku4472yGive away the only thing that makes the life worth living for? Yeah, that sounds like a good solution. Not.
My ickle boi broke his leg when he was a pupper. He's cost me at least 5k€ so far but I wouldn't change it. He gives so much joy (and a lot of frustration too) back and he keeps me sane. He's also very handy to remind me to take my asthma meds before I even realise I'm having an attack. (Works for migraine too.)
He (and his big bro) is the only reason I go out daily. He keeps the anxiety away. Just the best thing in the world. -
DamoMac6082yI do enjoy this life, but I have an idea where you're coming fro. I'm sorry that you and your pupper are going through this.
My cat is getting on a bit now and I hope this isn't something I have to deal with, but it's more and more likely as they get older.
Not to say that anyone "doesn't get it", I certainly didn't before having pets, but they're not just animals, they're family.
I just realized being alive in this life is actually a punishment. Who enjoys this life if they are not rich? Wtf.
I have to spend thousands of dollars for my dogs treatment because hes sick. Those greedy vets are fucking disgusting. I dont have energy to talk about how money hungry they are and not actually helping.
Literally giving away my last dollars to help my dog. These doctors don't give a Fuck if hes gonna survive they are here just to milk as much money as they can from me. Im fuckijg sick of this life and world. I didnt sign up for this struggle.
