**Wrongly edited last time, made it confusing. Deleted. Posting again. Apologies.**

So, scenario was like, we friends were chatting on WhatsApp and talking about Germany as one of us has shifted there recently. After a 30-40 mins chat, I clicked on Google to search for some company(say 'xyz') .... Now this searching for company and chatting with friends are totally separate events. But when I typed 'xyz' , google suggested "xyz career Germany" and 'xyz Germany glassdoor'.

My question is that is it possible that Google is taking records of what am I typing anywhere(I've android phone) and using that to decide which suggestions should it be showing to me? Or am I thinking too much? 😌

Big Data and Analytics, Baby! Everything is connected to everything. Do a search for a product on Amazon on your Android phone, and suddenly you are getting ads from Amazon for said product in your web browser on your PC. Or, look at car models on your PC, and you start getting ads in Facebook for the same vehicle. There is no escape, unless you become a Luddite, and go off-grid.

Not only Google but Facebook too. Once I was looking after a host on google and then what do you think? Facebook ads were with web hosts.
I think they know every step you make.

Maybe that 'xyz' company name piped up during your 30-40 min conversation, and the said company exists in Germany ....?
