“left / right” for a top/bottom picture. Left button to the right and right button to the left… genius.

The question remains? How do you remember this image?

This rant is missing the political tag!

I remember this image as one of the most tragic symbols in history: a game, once designed to teach ppl about the inherent tendency of capitalism to widen the gap between the poor and the rich, became one of the best sold board games in the world, loved by children who enjoy the little chance of becoming the rich one more instead one of the poor suckers and thus depricting the society we live in more accurate than everything else.

I always found Monopoly to be extremely boring. There are no interesting decisions to make. It always feels like there is only one obvious best choice in each situation.

I know it's a common Mandela effect, as it sounds reasonable that the old time rich man would have a monocle.

And I did buy it when seeing other drawings of the fella.

But when I see him in the logo like this I can instantly recognise that the monocle doesn't belong

Hilariously bad UI BTW. is it a joke site / meme or unintentional?

My answer is the left button which is on the right and means the top. Super clear nothing to see here 🤣

Padding around the image create overflow which pushed the other image to a new line. Reduce padding and the images align again.
