I find it hilarious that I am one of 2 people at my company of 60+ people that really knows front end development. Like, how have you guys made it this far without full stack devs?

Maybe because the world and a company is more than a web page. For other companies it might be the most important thing.

You should probably study your company's economic history and plans for future if you want to know "why" it seems unimportant with frontend devs.

@Messer oh I already know why. It just hasn't been the most important thing for them in the past. We're a Salesforce partner company and most of our clients outsource the design to other people. I just started here a few months ago and we got handed a project that's UI was a steaming pile of cow dung and told to make it responsive. I just find it funny that were a web development company and yet we only have a few of us that are well rounded enough to really consider ourselves full stack
