    I was such a noob the first time I ever tried out linux, I borked my Ubuntu install by running the "super speedup optimization command"

    sudo rm rf /

    @WildCard9 Nope, installed Nvidia drivers, did some settings and I probably touched something that I shouldn't have. :D

    @spear I've got the feeling fucking up your dm trying to install nvidia proprietary drivers is kind of an rite of initiation for Linux users. Everyone I know who had an nvidia card (and one who didn't, don't ask) did it.

    Same here. Second day tries to figure out why settings isn't opening ends up almost fucking up the kde themes. Then after restarting vmlinuz is missing lol.

    I guess it just took you 3 whine days to fuck something up cause you were busy 2.5 days installing Linux and having it boot up properly?
    Similar happened to me the first time using Linux.

    I tried to relabel my windows partition. Rebooted and I got loud static and white fuzz on the screen. Terrifying. Thought it was gonna explode. Managed to open a terminal and remove the bad line from fstab and I was all good ^-^ also I spent two hours trying to install a font
