remember Occam’s and Newton’s razors? I propose the bezos razor: “If it can’t be sold, it’s not worth discussing”.

@aviophile No, it is totally fine, that financial profit is the only metric for success. Nothing will or even can go wrong with that.

@tosensei yep, they can work in amazon warehouse, walmart OR target! And if they don't want to work, they can just… not work!

@tosensei ask it to the poor masses of soviets and china: where would they wanted to live? Usa or glorious motherland Russia…

You idiots lost perspective on history. Luckily people toppled communists all around.

@tosensei “it's just the result of communism being closer to human ideals, while capitalism is closer to human nature” — sorry, I'm stealing this. It's _our_ quote now :D

Jokes aside, I told people about free market, survival of the fittest, all that social-darwinism BS when someone did unfair to me. My small brain reinforced that narrative in hopes I can get my revenge/can come on top next time.

Now, I'm definitely somewhere in the bottom left. My autistic brain have hardwired empathy that's on at all times, and it doesn't care if it does good to me or causes trauma. When I read about coercion and lay-offs, I realize they're bad, and they're there bc capitalism. But only when I read about… viscerally cruel things like anti-suicide nets at Foxconn I literally cried, something broke inside me and I escaped the “capitalism is fair” mindset.
