It’s been 2 years I migrated from PC to Mac for development and today I can boldly say “I found peace on this side”.

Same. But not necessarily proudly 😆

For me it took quite a long time and I had to use various taskbar tools (uBar) alt+tab helpers (witch) and window tiling managers (First Spectacle, now Magnet) to get used to MacOS limited window sizing options and dock.

But I instantly fell in love with having a Unix terminal, installing programs as dmg files instead of wizards and not having to mix control panel and settings app.

You might find the transition to a Linux desktop distro even more peaceful and satisfactory
