I Tested it my self : 0 pop ups. Nothing, just white page.
I never post somethiong I didn't test.
I tested on :
EDGE Last version
Firefox : Last version.
Both on Windows -
@NoToJavaScript That is because it is blocking them. Mine blocked 5 popups in a message from Firefox. Does yours tell you it blocks them?
Edit: well, more this time... lol -

It does try to do mega pop ups etc
But any modern browser SHOULD block them
