So I started learning html, css and javascript this year... After getting stuck in understanding a few concepts I started learning a little of sql and Java...
Now after a few begginer tutorials I have no idea where to go or what to dedicate my studies...
Most companies around my city use Java, but I'm already 29 years old and I feel like this will be a problem... Should I focus on learning frameworks and try big companies internships, or go for web development and start working on my own?

@theScientist yeah, I'm right now, I was just getting problems understanding classes, methods and etc... And then a friend recomended learning basic Java, because it could help understanding javascript better :)

I am studying js myself, too. Js is really heat now .And i advise you to choose one between java and js, as the above floor said, they are different ,don't be cheated by their nameπŸ˜‚ .

@xhmm yep, I know they are different, I just needed to understand what were classes, methods and etc, because only with js I was not complety getting the idea... Now I'm more confortable with these concepts, I'll probably return to js :)
