Improper indentation : 5 spaces inside the while and 11 spaces just to call the improve function ? Seriously ?

Also use the dark theme as @edwrodrig suggested.

And when you get older, maintaining this legacy code would be a hell lot tougher.

Sad that improve() will only be called once, and then you Call it after success, otherwise you just try and try without any improve... How/when is success changing? There might be a pointer from somewhere
