Have you guys ever hated your job but stuck around because the money was just too good? I keep hoping the grass will be greener eventually but I’m starting to think it’s not going to be.

Also I constantly say to myself that nothing is worth more than your mental health but then that pay check comes in and it keeps me going for another two weeks. Gah! I hate this

    having enough dinero to be able not to think about them is also part of your mental well being, but then again is a bad example of recursion w/ complicated solution ;}

    I did and it caused severe burnout. Fuck that shitty job, never again. I still saved around 45k in less than 2 years so it was ok I guess.

    I think it depends on your goals at the time. Maybe you need money for something and it is worth it but maybe you want to become better at some technology and currently you are not using it, then you could think on a change for your career path

    At the end all depends on what you want for your present/future

    i get it. my job doesn't pay that much, but they offer a comfortable salary and great benefits. on top of that, it's very stable, i don't think I'll get fired any time soon, and it's close to home, so it's very convenient. never had a delayed payment, get anual bonuses, it's pretty comfy. all of that is holding me far longer than i thought it would, cause this job fucks me up
