I've never been a fan of "wireless" technologies.

Whether it's a keyboard, mouse, gamepad. Nope none of it. The latency, need to change batteries (if any), chances of putting the accessories in places other than your gaming desk thus creating clutter around your house.

And earphones, HOLY CRAP. You cannot convince me that any sort of Bluetooth earphones have better sound quality than my wired 3.5mm Sennheiser earphones.

I'd rather take wires and get quality content consumption over Bluetooth/Wireless for a little "convenience".

You can't really pee and stay listening to Margareth in a morning standup if you're wired to a 1.5kg fragile rectangle ball

Only for audio I prefer wires. Use too much to charge every time. All other stuff really doesn't matter to me

@netikras I can't stress enough on how much I failed to understand what you meant.

    Holy crap, dude.

@Sid2006 that last thing is a laptop

I love how you can be anywhere in the house and still hold a conversation from Teams or Discord with an wireless headset

Quality wise they will always be inferior, but in a lot of cases they are good enough for what the user requires.

I have a wireless keyboard and mouse setup that can easily switch between the two computers I use. Never want to go back to a wired "solution". If you get decent stuff, battery life is not much of a problem either. My keyboard needs a charge once a year, my mouse maybe three times a year.

Wireless headphones aren't good enough for music - but fine for speech.

But yeah, all wired here. When the Cylons come i just disconnect the Ethernet cable and at least my PC is safe. No connectivity/latency issues and no need to charge peripherals are just an additional bonus.

Latency? I'm using a dualshock4 controller in wireless mode almost always and never noticed any latency

Also modern looseless compression is quite good for music as well.

when u have som buds u never wanna go back.. sound isnt better yea. but its quite good and sound canceling aswell. the main benefit though is not having to be chained on some place or thing. anyhow i put mine in washing machine. back to my old ones >:[

me too. I also like wired connections. they form a closed loop physically.

Although they do get messy and ugly. I just like that they are all together. Connected through wires

Yep agree with most of this. Do like a wireless phone though and WiFi is handy for a lot of things but prefer wired where possible. Shit is stable as it gets.
