I have an interview on Thursday for a job I've been doing for the past 9 months - I bloody hope I get it!

I'm currently classed as an 'Apprentice' but have been doing the sole job of the Developer after he left a week before I started.

The only differences between the two roles is the pay difference and title (just about double my current rate).

I've started to produce documentation and processes for rolling upgrades to our application without downtime which is something they're big on.

Public sector for you, it took 9 months for a replacement...

I am literally heading to an interview with my former boss and current boss where if/when I get the job (that I've held for the last seven years) my former boss will become my boss again and my current boss will become former boss.😂 Also there is one other person there who had never been my boss but I wish she were and she actually delegates all my projects and has for the last five years. #HigherEdDev

Don't let them bullshit you in you don't have the knowledge to be a full dev or they can't give you the title yet but like to keep you as a apprentice, if they do just quit (and they will give you the position/pay raise, at least if they would be without a dev for another 9 months).

It's disgusting how the UK apprentice system is abused £3.40 an hour.....
