they rather invest in more marketing to keep people on their failing, fading platform. and hire a few hundred consultants to find out why their platform is failing and fading.

well for one: microsoft ruins EVERYTHING they acquire. no exception.

also: gitlab exists. and one can only hope that the objectively inferior product (github) will cease to exist at some point.
