@searchindex And Android is a modded Linux distribution, so technically there is a Linux version, just not desktop Linux.

@dermagger, Google Skype for Business, Linux, and Pidgin. The instructions are for Ubuntu 13.10, but you might be able to figure something out.

You can't expect so much of a small indie company.
They even struggle with providing a public key to sign their updates for the Skype beta.
Let them establish themselves on the market and give them time to mature maybe things will get better.
