The good thing about a Google search that includes "words in speech marks" is that Google will *only* return pages where that phrase definitely appears.

Or not.

    In my opinion if the criteria is just in results and speed to find results then google is an outstanding accomplishment! But as for privacy etc... That's another story.

    My problem is when they publish that to use their service to find:

    >this exact word or phrase

    we should

    >Put exact words in quotes: "rat terrier"

    https://google.ca/advanced_search/

    and then they fail to do that and I waste time

    - putting stuff in quotes
    - Ctrl+F on a resulting page
    - only to find the phrase missing on some of their pages

    Search is their raison d'être and if they can't get that right, it gives me a great opportunity to rant—like that ↑

    @Jase duckduckgo is a good search engine, in my opinion.... have you tried?
