hello brothers (abd sisters) in code..

i'm not a front end dev, but i had to create a front end application sometime ago. since i don't really know how to create things, i used the golden ratio in almost everything, to try to get a "pretty" app ..has anyone tried this before, or is it not a good thing? since buttons have to scale based on windows resolution, and space left, was this a good idea?

Sublime text... works on almost every OS.
On my side projects, probably visual studio (i really like VS debugger).
Sometimes vim, if there is no GUI to work with

Hey, i don't wanna start a war here, but.... what you guys use more: GitHub or bitbucket? and in which case should i use one or another?
Yes, i have tried google, but i wanna know what you think about those two.

always double check your rm -rf command...

long ago, young me was setting up a server. last thing was to remove a temp folder i created. instead of rm -rf /path/to/dir, i typed rm -rf / path/to/dir...
