I'll go with Fedora as well. Have lately tried almost 10 distros, it works the best out of the box!!

If you just hate the _look_ of Ubuntu, you can use Xubuntu.

@Ashkin when the criteria is stability, why not include Slackware?

With sbopkg, the package choices aren't *that* limited.. :)

Btw, have you tried void Linux yet?
Not that I'm suggesting it, I'm just curious :)
