I don't have a life.

So I'm back at work on a Saturday afternoon (admittedly, I prefer this to staying home or going out to ... Clubbing? Idk what the youth does nowadays) and just about every sound frightens me. Like, I don't mind the squeaky building, but my hormones are off and just about everything sends me into a panic mode. (my mental health rn is... funny 😬) so, I was thinking, I should make something thay covers up the squeaks. Like, plays something classic over squeaks.

... Now, "psychopaths in your area" could use this to their advantage and direct their own music pieces. 👀

I feel you. I would be the same if i wouldn't go to church and believe in Jesus Christ. Which also gives a purpose (or life, when you call it that way) and gives you friends that you can trust (both are not the goal of church nor are they the gospel, but they are one of the nice side effects, one of the Christian privileges).

@happygimp0 I am glad you feel that way.
I, however, will question and criticize any religion. Takes the fun out of religions in general. 😜

@NoMad Of course, questioning religion and is good, even some criticism is needed, especially when we see what humans made out of it. There are many religions and even a outsider has to conclude that there could only be a few or only one that is correct and all the others have to be lies.

I assume you also know that there is a God? Or do you look at everything, the amazing nature, and thing: Yea, total accident?

After learning the Jesus is God and he is risen from the death, i put away all the criticism i had. He is God and he knows better than we do. The bible and true Christianity is unique in many ways, i don't think the evidence for any other religions comes even close to the evidence for the bible.

@happygimp0 I consider "believing in a man in the sky controlling life" a mental health illness . I guess that should answer you neatly.

@rewriteitin-c or, it makes you realize how much more productive you are when there's no one around 😜

@NoMad my belief system is very much the same. My hobby is also sometimes building the fun stuff l didn't get to at work.

The whole going out stuff is mostly lame. Can be ok with a really nice group but usually it's just standing crammed in a place that doesn't do drinks right.

@hjk101 find good bars, old man 😜 dunno where you are, but chances are there are grown up bars around. (Cocktail bar is the key word)
They're not loud, have plenty of sitting area, some do games (not necessarily gambling) and are too often expensive (mostly to keep the drunk youth out)
