Its a simple and understandable issue... I see not fucking problem there... You're basically standing in front of a red light and complaining about it... wait for the fucking green light and carry on with your life.

@codePolitics Thanks, but I solved it. Rebooted and deleted the log files. Then ran it with admin privileges.

The only reason I'm doing this is to make a windows version of my electron app.

@Teknas yeah then you should have definitely got VS2017, because it's installer is way better and faster. It's easier to select what you need.

I had similar problems 12 hours that I had to use a mac for xamarin, the worst 12 hours of my life, I was so glad to back to windows and visual studio
