Looks clean and sleek on mobile (only one I've tested) however, you should lower some of the white space in my opinion. The quote in particular :)

It looks great and it's about an interesting subject (reading) that really matters. For a site which is about reading there is very little to read on the page, but maybe more content is yet to come? IMO, there should be less animations/videos and more textual content. I like reading, I don't like watching videos. Plain text is also more accessible and SEO-friendly. I tried clicking the headings in the video, Read | Explore | Share | should but they are not clickable. Maybe it would be intuitive if they were?

I like the site but a login/registration form WITHOUT SSL/TLS is kinda unacceptable in 2017 :P. Take a look at letsencrypt maybe! Site looks nice by the way :).

@linuxxx Yeah I am not an SSL nazi but a site asking for personal info needs encryption.

No excuse with Let's Encrypt as an option now.

@benoliver999 Oh I think that its essential for every site to run on HTTPS. when you see that providers like Verizon inject super cookies and tracking shit into all traffic flowing through their datacenters, it becomes clear that everything needs to be encrypted in transit!

@benoliver999 Also government's can censor sites based on keywords in texts and DPI (Deep Packet Inspection). Through SSL this becomes at least very very hard.

@linuxxx Yeah I usually go the VPS route too but for static hosting I'm gonna see how this works out. It's low traffic so seems silly to pay for unused compute time.
