It it just me or do gifs play really badly on here?

It has gotten to the point where I only view gifs if I really really really think they're gonna be worth my while. I usually regret it.
It was actually tolerable before a bug that caused the gifs to restart after a few frames because you didn't have to wait long for the gif to go to the beginning again (which triggers a refresh and makes the gif play properly). Since that bug was fixed I just avoid them.
