So I asked a very pretty and funny woman if she was seeing anyone and she said no. I was being friendly with her for about a month, then she added me on Instagram. Which has a picture of her with her husband AND two kids. When I mentioned it, her exact words were 'that's impossible, you didn't ask me that'.

YES I FUCKING DID, YOU LIE TO MY FACE THEN ACCUSE ME OF DOING THAT EXACT SAME FUCKING THING!

Fuck life and all it's pointless difficulties. Why can't I just find someone sweet, kind, and supportive that doesn't lie, cheat, and scheme. While I feel like I can't sink any further into shit too, thanks so much...

We haven't found the correct algorithm yet. That's why.

@lostinmyworld I dont honestly think there is an algorithm suitable for this, just because every single woman I've tried asking out has taken a fat shit in a bag then given it to me gift wrapped with a little bow

@theScientist why is she? You've lost me now

Honest advice on how to find an honest relationship:

    1. Be the initiator. You have no idea why a woman engages you and what her plan is. Just a one night stand? A relationship? If you are the one asking someone out, you know why and what you want.

    2. The best relationship do not start where people are looking for them. discos, speed dating, dating apps, etc. are the absolute worst place to look for a partner. If you happen to meet someone who, how may i put this, "shares your vibe", who you feel comfortable with and evidently vice versa in a place or situation you didn't expect it, just roll with it. Ask for her number and see what's possible for you.

    3. Don't expect people who have a need to share their social life online avidly to be interested in a deeper relationship. A little bit of online is alright but people who live mainly on social media mostly just crave for attention and the next kick. Look for someone who is happy with themselves without online approval.

@R5on11c thanks, that's pretty much how I work, and I wouldn't touch dating sites with a bargepole anyway xD

And I wasn't looking for a relationship, I just really liked her. What pissed me off is she lied about seeing someone

Understandable, seeing people cheating on their partners, especially in longer running relationships with kids and everything without any remorse or hesitation is disgusting.

@theScientist I understand where you're coming from but usually you would assume that means in a relationship in general. In my mind anyway.

@theScientist exactly, that's why it's pissed me off. If I'd said 'are you dating anyone' or 'do you have a boyfriend' then that would have made more sense, but still pretty self-explanatory

Maybe she is divorced / separated?

@Jonnyforgotten maybe but she's got a suspiciously looking wedding ring on her finger. Also she was married in may this year to a guy who honestly looks like his daughter made his face out of clay.

@divil I hope so, but I just want to be able to talk about random shit late at night and just have a shoulder sometimes... I miss that, you know?
  • 1
@DucksCanCode if she has a wedding ring why did you bother asking, isn't it kind of a big clue she could be married?

Maybe you have disassociative identity disorder

@divil thank you so much, that really helped :)
