    What is netinstall though ?

    @sam9669 net installer.
    It installs the system by pulling the packages fresh from the *online* repository.

    A "normal" installer has the packages on the media, and hosts a local repository that it's pulls from, allowing offline installation.

    Some offline installers just copy the packages directly and rebuilds the package database afterwards though. :)

    With a good network, netinstall is as close to heaven as it gets

    @siksik smooth and flawless. It writes on your disk like the law in Moses tables.
