Bikonja23837y@heyheni no, it was with my laptop on wifi, the connection is stable. Youtube on full HD and local network videos at full HD stream no problem.

I think you can tell it to stay at one resolution can you not? And yes, those kinds of discounts are everywhere on Udemy, just to make you think you got a good deal
-
Bikonja23837y@TheBardAbaddon I didn't see that option, but then again I wasn't really looking for it so I'll check when I get back from work.
Yeah, I thought that was just a gimmick, but I wanted tht course anyway so it's not like they tricked me into buying it :)
Thanks -
@Bikonja I spent $15 on a $100 Unity course, and after a few hours of watching the course I realize I don't even like game development 😂

Bikonja23837y@TheBardAbaddon :)
The course I got was for Unreal Engine 4. I've played around with it, but it's massive so I want a good tutorial and I find the ones on youtube not that good so I wanted to try Udemy (perfect opportunity to test it out). For €10 I'm not gonna pine if it's terrible and it'll be great if it's good :)
So far I like it, but I've only watched a few videos and wasn't able to do so while having Unreal Engine in front of me so it's not really a good benchmark :) -
TMBSTruth477yYep, Udemy does this kind of discounts often. I guess their normal prices are for people in a hurry (companies)

Bikonja23837y@TMBSTruth thanks.
@TheBardAbaddon yeah, I see now that you can fix a resolution and it performs much better, I haven't have any stutters or buffers so far.

Started my first experience with Udemy yesterday. The video seems to be buffering occasionally and switching to low quality frequently which makes it hard to read what's on the screen. I'm not happy about that the least bit. Is that normal for Udemy?
Also, I bought a course for €10 that was supposedly discounted from something like €200. I assume this is a marketing trick? Do all courses always have those kinds of "discounts"?
