*Declines meeting an hour past working hours*

Manager: “any specific reason why you declined my invite?”

What I want to say: “You are a narcissistic cunt who I wish to never interact with again. Your existence in this world and the way you treat others makes me want to throw up!”

But I just pretend like I never saw their message.

You can auto reject calendar invites with a certain message "reschedule it during work hours"

"I'm outside work hours so I'm masturbating. Don't mind if you want me to attend, but I'm gonna keep doing what I'll be doing. Yours truly."

And of course. "According to company policy I'll be keeping my webcam on at all times, correctly framing all of myself."

Close outlook and silence notifications outside of work hours. It's the only way to stay sane.

"I already have plans that evening."

Use it *every* time something like this crops up. You don't need to say what those plans are, but it's easier to avoid an argument doing this than just saying "piss off, outside of working hours is my time".

Also, find another job with a better manager.
