I hated .NET when i was developing with it, but i loved to hate it. I miss those days

    I am recently seeing some interesting enterprises systems built on .NET and a good job market.

    @Jumpshot44 In all honesty it can be quite powerful but i was using it in an extreme RAD environment and the architecture deserves more time and planning to get it right. Don't get me wrong though, all languages need proper SDLCs but scripting languages lend themselves better to those clients that fly by the seat of their pants.

    I love being a .NET developer, and I think with the new Core platform coming out I think there are some really exciting times ahead!

    Also, RAD sucks no matter what platform you do it on.
