    Always get a deposit so if they disappear, then at least you got something. If they can't out their money where there mouth is, the it is not a client worth dealing with. No reason you should take all the risk. Some of it should be offloaded to the client.

    I'm supposed to take 30% of the deal (+costs to print etc) before i start my work 😎

    I usually take 50% down, 30% after beta release, and 20% after production release... and if they don't pay the last 20%, then no post-release free bug/crash fix time period (usually a month)

    @Cyanite lol, like tell them they get more code if they buy in bulk? Or how about for an extra thousand dollars their code will be un-cut?
