Eh, Linux isn't THAT hard. Especially Arch, in which installing the Nvidia drivers are literally "pacman -S nvidia" -
@Alice well... Considering I only helped him by installing manjaro, the fact that he recently bought some games on steam (which he couldn't open without the drivers) and his ability to use google, it's the most logical thing to do in his place. I just hope he continues learning...

@Alice yeah, you are right on that point. Most people don't like to figure stuff out. My brother had to learn in order to play some videogames. But nonetheless I think it's cool to think that he overcame that first lazy barrier.

@gitcommit yeah i think it is cooler but i would not want to delete macos of my macbook pro lol. For the next laptop i do not need a mac, thats for sure. Dell xps would be good enough.

!Rant
Two weeks ago I installed manjaro in my brother's laptop in order to revive it. Windows was going slow as fuck; he had to wait 10 mins for the startup and 5 minutes for any browser to actually open.
Today I remembered this and asked him how was it going. Fuck, he's already installed graphic proprietary drivers, uses pacman and the command line in a basic way. I can't be more proud of him 😊. I hope this little seed I planted actually grows and makes him more interested in computers and cs in general.
