And you are sure that your subnet actually use the nameservers you are editing in? -
@Linux I am not entirely sure what you're saying uhm. I've got the DNS settings at my domain name provider and trying to setup the mail server (or, it's setup successfully) on a VPS.

PTR is nothing you can setup at your DNS provider, you have to do that at your vps provider -
