I can't deal with another week of this.

Just came out of a car crash of a meeting, client expected a finished product, ready to sign off, but got a product that has so far to go.

I am a junior developer, paid junior salary, 1 and a bit years out of uni, and I am basically "lead" of a project that is way above my level of pay, I have been for a year (yes so fresh out of uni I was given this). Clients basically want out now, they reckon it's going to die. We have another week to push it, I have pulled 12 hour days without overtime. We have one other developer outsourced, plus a part time front end guy (who I trained).

I want out so bad, but if I walk, my company will be screwed and their company will be screwed.

Morally, I don't want to do that. But I can't see this ending well.

Fuck it.

I was literally in the same position you were a year ago, i may even have the rants to prove it, my advice is if you dont think you can swing it, get out, and dont feel bad about it either, if they wont recognize your worth now they only will when you leave. But by then they wont deserve to have you around after not valueing you properly

I feel for you man, I know what the boss is like. I'd assume you've talked to him about it? Have a little protest about it and try and make him realise

Sounds like we have the same employer! If you find a solution for dealing with this kind of shitfuckery that doesn't involve fire or poison please let me know.

@DeadInside take the advice I won't follow. Get out when you can, look for another job.

Sometimes putting bad companies and projects out of their misery by walking away is a kindness. If everything really falls with you then your bosses did their job wrong and that isn't your fault either.

The company is already screwed in first place

As @gitblame said, putting a bad company out of business isn't a bad thing.

@gitblame @diegochaves my company isn't a great business, but our client wasn't bad, just were unlucky to choose us
