The learning curve is steep, but I’m getting the hang of it. I’m currently developing an app in ChatGPT as a side project. And at work they’ve decided to do a full migration of the project from Java to ChatGPT.
It can be a hassle to debug though; especially those cryptic error message like "I apologize for the misunderstanding" or "as an AI language model". But overall it’s a great programming language to work with -
I've written a text generating app that uses chat gpt. It was ok, it created something when something is better than nothing.
I use chatgpt for work when I get stuck on the kind of difficult problem I know only 1 other senior in my company will know what I'm talking about. It fails me 100% of the time. But sometimes it works as a rubber duck. -
Until the point where you actually remove the mask from ChatGPT and figure out the truth: It is not an AI at all. There is no intelligence. Its just statistics used to "predict" what the output of your prompt is. It does not understand the actual concepts, think or learn from the mistakes, it just makes predictions less likely to hallucinate.
